From the Peruvian Amazon, cultivated from seedling to maturity in managed groves with active replanting. Known traditionally as sangre de drago — blood of the dragon — this plant latex has been used for centuries as a vegetal seal for damaged skin.
Apply a drop and it lands vivid crimson. Work it into the skin and it shifts to a soft pink, then dries to form a thin, breathable film over the surface. This is the resin doing what it does: the taspine alkaloids accelerating closure, the film-forming compounds sealing the site. One of the more extraordinary materials in the Amazonian pharmacopeia — and one of the simplest to use.
For minor cuts, abrasions, blisters, and irritated skin. A little goes a long way.
To use — Apply a small amount directly to skin. Work in gently until it shifts from red to pink. Allow to dry. Reapply as needed. For external use only.
