    1. Pour 16 cups of purified water into a large covered pot and bring it to a boil.

    2. Turn off the stove and add 2 handfuls of herbs into the water. Do not use essential oils. Stir the herbs and cover the pot. Set your intentions and hold reverence for the medicine you are about to receive.

    3. Let the herbs steep for 15-20 minutes. Test the temperature of the steam before using it by holding your forearm over the pot. If it's too hot, wait 5 minutes and test it again until it feels comfortably warm to steam with. You can also ladle some out for tea.

    4. If you don't have a yoni pot, place your pot in a prepared area on the floor and roll a towel around the circumference of the pot to make a soft cushion to sit on.

    5. Drape a large blanket or sheet around your waist down to the floor to form a tent, making sure no steam escapes. Keep yourself warm with socks, a blanket, a hat, and a scarf.

    6. Squat or sit over the steam for 10-20 minutes. You should feel a strong rolling heat, possibly sweat rolling down your legs.

    7. Remember your intentions while you are steaming. Use this time to connect with your womb and release all that you are ready to let go of. This time is for you, for the women who came before you and the women who will come after. It is time to heal trauma and decolonize our bodies by taking care of our health and well-being.

    8. After steaming, take 2 hours of downtime. Rest, stay warm, and relax to let the healing sink in.

    9. Discard the water and herbs in the compost.


    Note: Do not steam during your menstrual cycle, while pregnant, or while using an IUD. Consult an Arvigo specialist with questions. Consult with your doctor before using this product.
