About the plant
One of the most significant species of the Rosaceae family. R. damascena is used as an ornamental plant in gardens, and has a beautiful aromatic that can be found across the globe. In medical studies, this species had several "pharmacological properties including anti-HIV, antibacterial, antioxidant, antitussive, hypnotic, antidiabetic, and relaxant effect on tracheal chains have been reported for this plant.

From our small regenerative herb farm in historic Cornish, New Hampshire, Stone & Petal. We are dedicated to building soils, protecting the surrounding forest, waterways, and its inhabitants through ethical land practices. When we do not grow enough plant material to meet the demand we source from local organic farms or from Moutain Rose Herbs who acquire their petals from an organic supplier in Morocco.
