Frankincense · Boswellia sacra Sourced from FairSource Botanicals, a regeneration project working directly with harvesters in the wadis and mountains around Salalah, Oman. A blend of Sha'abi resin from the sub-coastal plains and Hojary from the highland mountains. FairSource has spent nearly 20 years partnering with the Omani government and local stakeholders to promote sustainable harvesting, fair compensation, and propagation of wild Boswellia sacra populations — including a nursery established specifically to support regeneration of trees affected by camel grazing. Boswellia sacra grows only in Oman and Yemen, in limestone cliffs and arid mountain valleys called wadis. It is among the oldest traded aromatics on earth.

Born from the collaboration between my partner Stephen and the plants themselves. Stephen has a gift for sensing subtle aromatic notes, and he was deeply drawn to the complex, earthy scent of vetiver. He began experimenting with this oil, blending it with others and taking detailed notes on the effects of each combination. Through that process he arrived at three formulas — each one a different facet of vetiver. Forest Bath is the deepest. Look for Orchard Fire and Spring Bud.

Vetiver first — dark, rooty, unmistakably earthy. Frankincense arrives in the drydown, resinous and slightly citrusy before settling into wood. Palo Santo threads through both — sweet, slightly minty, with its characteristic caramel edge that softens everything around it. The overall effect is a forest after rain: cool, deep, ancient.

Keep capped, upright, away from heat and direct light. Shelf life 1–2 years.
